Welcome!
I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in economics at the University of Pennsylvania. I'm also a John and Daria Barry Fellow at the Barry Foundation. I received my PhD in economics from George Mason University in 2023.
I am an applied microeconomist working in the areas of economic history and political economy. My research interests include:
- The political economy of the premodern state
- Economic activity over the long run
- Applied econometrics with a particular emphasis on spatial and network data
- The dark side of the force
